Overview
Shaolin Wudang Kung Fu School
Shaolin Wudang Kung Fu School is one of the newest schools on this list, having launched in 2025. It operates within Wudang Jingwu Martial Arts School in the Wudang Mountain area of Hubei Province, and is run by two instructors who both carry 34th generation lay disciple lineage from the Shaolin Temple.
The combination of Shaolin instruction in a Wudang Mountain setting is unusual and worth noting — students get access to both internal (Wudang Tai Chi, Qigong) and external (Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun, Sanda) styles in one location.
Because the school only launched in 2025, there are no independent student reviews available yet. The information below is drawn directly from the school's own materials.
Instructors

Who This School Suits
Shaolin Wudang suits students who want to train both Shaolin and internal styles in a single program, and who are comfortable with a structured, rule-based environment. The Wudang Mountain location adds a culturally significant backdrop for students drawn to the Taoist dimension of Chinese martial arts.
Given the school's recent launch, students should contact the school directly, ask for any available student references, and approach with appropriate caution until independent reviews become available.
